Overview

This policy explains what information ImageRecrop collects when you visit the site and how that information is used. By using ImageRecrop, you agree to the practices described here.

Images you upload

When you crop or resize an image, processing happens locally in your browser. ImageRecrop does not upload your source images to its servers for editing or storage.

Exported files are saved only when you use the download or copy actions in your browser.

Cookies and local storage

ImageRecrop may store your theme preference (light or dark) in browser local storage so the setting persists between visits.

The editor may also store workflow presets and recently used size presets locally to improve repeat use of the tool.

Google Analytics

ImageRecrop uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage, such as which pages are visited and which buttons are used. Analytics data is processed according to Google's privacy policy.

Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies. In regions where consent is required, analytics storage is denied by default until you accept cookies through the consent banner.

Google AdSense and advertising

ImageRecrop displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites.

Ad personalization and ad measurement cookies are denied by default for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland unless you accept advertising cookies.

Consent

ImageRecrop uses Google Consent Mode v2. Where required by law, a consent banner lets you accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies.

The consent banner is provided through Google AdSense Privacy & messaging. Use the Cookie settings link in the site footer to change your choices at any time.

Consent signals sent to Google include ad storage, ad user data, ad personalization, and analytics storage.

Third-party services

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Ad and analytics scripts are loaded from Google domains when enabled.

Those services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and page URL as part of normal web requests.

Children

ImageRecrop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
